Parish Council Elections

Elections for Parish Council will be held at all Masses on May 20th. There will be three seats up for election. If you would like to run or wish to nominate someone, please call Marilyn at the parish office or speak to John Guilfoyle, President or members Candy Townsend or Mark Varrato.

We thank all the members of the Council for their dedication to the work of the Council in furthering the Mission of Christ in our community. We are deeply grateful to them for all their time and hard work serving Our Saviour’s.

Our Saviour’s Baptism Seminar

Baptism Seminar sessions will be held on May 7th, 14th and 21st at 7:00 p.m. in Rms. A&B of the Parish Center. Parents are required to attend three sessions before the baptism may be scheduled. These sessions are offered to help parents be better prepared to pass on the faith to their children. Call Marilyn, 783-4554, to register or for more information.

5K Run for Rafe Beach Run

Saturday, May 12, 2012, 6:00 p.m. - Please join us in a Remembrance Run for Our Saviour School Alumni, Rafe Maccarone, on the beach across from Our Saviour’s School. We will meet at Our Saviour’s School Gym parking lot by 5:30 p.m., then walk over to the Pier to begin the run. Donations received from this run will go towards the Our Saviour’s School Rafe Maccarone Scholarship Fund. If you plan to attend, contact Mike Fairbank 783-4554 or mfairbank@oursaviourschool.org. Our Catholic Appeal

We thank you for your most generous response to Our Annual Catholic Appeal. Your generous support helps fund the many ministries of the Diocese, which helps so many people who come to us in need. We are very close to our goal of $142,000 and are very grateful for your generosity.

If you have not turned in your pledge envelope, we ask you to please return it this week. We pray that Our Savior will reward you for your generosity.

FIRST FRIDAY DEVOTION TO THE

SACRED HEART OF JESUS

(In church) 8:00 a.m. – Reparation Prayers.

7:00 p.m. — Eucharistic Benediction and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, led by Deacon Pat. Choir members, who would like to join us, please arrive at 6:30 p.m. Following the Service, a movie will be shown in the New Meeting Room; light snacks will be offered.

FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTION TO THE

IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY

9:30 a.m. — Reparation prayers and rosary, following Daily Mass. (In grotto or church depending on weather conditions).
